Coleman Road Trip Grill Accessories

When we are getting ready to head away for a weekend or a week camping, the first thing we think about packing is our Coleman Road Trip Grill. It's in the truck first!  I'm not sure if it's the mountain, the stream, the drive there or the camping food we enjoy the most sometimes!  Now that we have the grill, we tailor our menu for the time we will be away, around it.  Then we work out what equipment we need to take to do that.

We always try to head off on Friday and try and get somewhere for the night, we find it gets the weekend off to a better start if you wake up Saturday and you are already there.  I more often that not make homemade hamburgers to take to cook Friday night.  I usually have a frozen stew to take with us for Saturday night if we are just away for the weekend.  The frozen stew helps keeps the cooler box cold too.

For breakfast, I make the scrambled eggs in a wok style pan, on the Coleman Stove Grate for Road Trip Grills, it does a great job. It's useful for heating a pot of canned soup or baked beans on longer trips too.  The picture show a little pot is just as safe and steady on the rings over the flame as a big pot would be.  Of course you can through a pan on here for the bacon for breakfast or some fresh corn cobs for dinner.  The possibilities are endless when you have the right equipment for the food you want to cook.

For the best ever Sunday morning pancakes, you'll need a Coleman RoadTrip Full-Size Aluminum Griddle - don't forget to pack the maple syrup! Great for French Toast too
and you're not feeding a crowd, you can even cook the bacon at the same time.

The secret is to work out what you are going to eat and then take the equipment you need.  When it comes right down to it, you don't need to take a whole lot if you plan right.
